In order to deeply implement the fire safety concept of "prevention first, life first", comprehensively enhance the fire safety awareness and emergency self rescue ability of the company's accommodation personnel, and further strengthen the fire safety management level of the dormitory building, on December 23rd, Remote Stock organized a systematic and practical fire safety drill activity.
This event is closely integrated with the National Safety Production Month and the company's annual safety work plan, aiming to enhance the fire prevention and emergency response capabilities of all employees through a combination of theoretical training and practical exercises.
This drill is open to all accommodation personnel. At the beginning of the training, professional personnel from the Safety and Environmental Protection Department and the Guanlin Town Fire Brigade will give lectures. The training provided a comprehensive PPT presentation with pictures and text, introducing the distribution and functions of various fire-fighting facilities in the dormitory building, emergency evacuation routes and routes, fire alarm processes, and basic principles for initial fire suppression. This laid a solid theoretical foundation for subsequent practical operations.
Subsequently, a practical fire equipment drill will be conducted. Firefighters demonstrated the correct usage and operation essentials of common firefighting equipment such as fire extinguishers and hydrants on site, and guided employees in hands-on practice. Everyone actively participated, took turns to experience, and under professional guidance, mastered the key skills for extinguishing early fires.
The evacuation drill that followed simulated a real fire situation. Upon hearing the alarm, the trainees quickly followed the predetermined evacuation route and evacuated in an orderly and efficient manner to the designated safe area. The entire process was well-organized and responded quickly, effectively verifying the feasibility of the emergency plan and the emergency response capabilities of employees.
After the drill, the safety and environmental protection department and the head of the fire brigade conducted a comprehensive review and summary of the drill, provided detailed comments on the problems exposed during the drill, and answered employees' questions on site. Through this drill, not only have employees' practical skills in fire safety been improved, but the company's fire safety emergency plan has also been further optimized, and the coordination and linkage mechanism among various departments in emergency situations has been strengthened.
