To effectively enhance employees' awareness of safe operation and prevent safety accidents, Yuancheng Co., Ltd. recently organized a special training on the safe operation of cranes for more than 200 employees. This training was targeted at crane operators from various branch factories, electromechanical workers from the equipment department, quality management personnel, warehousing service staff and other related positions.

The training focused on the core content of safe crane operation, with key explanations as follows:

01 Pre-operation inspection: Including inspection of key components such as motor operation, steel wire ropes, and limit devices to ensure the equipment is in normal condition.

02 Safety operation specifications: Emphasizing the need to follow the command of designated personnel, prohibiting operation with wet hands, requiring the wearing of safety helmets when lifting items, and strictly implementing the trial lifting procedure.

03 "Ten Don't Lift" principles: Such as not lifting overloaded items, not lifting when signals are unclear, not lifting when there are people under the suspended object, etc., to eliminate illegal operations from the source.

04 Accident analysis and warning: Through typical cases, analyzing the causes of accidents such as hook collisions and falling of suspended objects, to strengthen employees' risk prevention awareness.

The training, using a combination of pictures and texts, vividly showed the contrast between wrong operations and correct methods, making the trainees deeply realize the necessity and importance of standardized operations. In addition, the training specifically pointed out the details that need attention in crane operation:

Confirm the position of the hook before lifting to avoid slanting or dragging;

When moving the crane, observe the surrounding environment and prohibit passing over personnel or equipment;

Turn off the power after operation, sort out the lifting tools, and ensure the equipment is returned to its position;

This training not only improved employees' crane operation skills but also sounded the safety alarm through accident cases. The trainees all said that they would apply the knowledge learned to daily work, and keep in mind that "safety comes from long-term vigilance, and accidents stem from momentary carelessness".
