Field Experience to Strengthen Party Spirit Cultivation

On April 29, the First and Second Party Branches of Yuancheng Cable jointly carried out a thematic Party Day activity of "Strengthening Party Members' Party Spirit Education and Ideological and Political Education". The activity organized Party members to visit Yixing Yu Ling Memorial Hall and Baita Village Party Building Exhibition Hall. During the visit, Party members deeply felt the firm ideals and beliefs and the spirit of selfless dedication of the ancestors, which further enhanced their Party spirit cultivation.

In the discussion and exchange, Yu Guoping, Secretary of the Second Branch, presided over and delivered a speech, emphasizing the importance of Party spirit study. In the series of activities for the "May 10" Integrity Awareness Month, the reading sharing session themed "Nourishing the Heart with Integrity through Books, Walking with a Clean Breeze" became a highlight. At the beginning of the activity, the host introduced the important significance of the activity. Every year, May 10th has a homophonic meaning of "I want to be honest" in Chinese. Carrying out clean government activities during this period aims to sound the alarm of honest self-discipline and build a solid ideological defense line against corruption and degeneration. This reading sharing session takes books as a medium, draws nutrients from classic works and clean government stories, and guides cadres and employees to establish correct world outlook, outlook on life and values.

The activity process is divided into three links: personal sharing, free discussion and summary comments. In the personal sharing link, participants shared their insights around books and articles related to integrity. The shared books include "A Brief History of the Communist Party of China's Clean Government", which, in chronological order, shows the Party's unremitting exploration and brilliant achievements in promoting clean government construction in various historical periods, providing valuable experience for the current construction of a clean and honest government; "Clean Government Mirror —— Fighting Against All Corrupt Behaviors" focuses on the current situation of anti-corruption, analyzes the root causes, harms and characteristics of corruption, and expounds the strategic deployment and practical achievements of the Party and the country; "Small Stories of Honest Self-Discipline, Great Principles of Anti-Corruption and Promoting Integrity" selects small stories of honest self-discipline from ancient and modern China and abroad, allowing readers to understand the concept of integrity in relaxed stories.
